It's the rain, the rain... it's been raining last night and today and most probably all weekend - what else is there to do but snuggle in and catch up on some web viewing- here is some of what I found recently...

+  I rediscovered this editorial from 2009 of Karmen Pedaru for Vogue China; seems like a couple of seasons can't dampen the love of animal print, headwear, mix n matching and bold jewellery - it's still fun.  Via FGR here.

+  Take a crash course on what's trending in makeup from Charlotte Tilbury via Net A Porter; Charlotte makes it so simple - a smokey eye, a bold brow and a red lip - easy peasey!

+  80 years of French brand Lacoste;  from beginnings as a sportswear brand to current trends... that's a long time in fashion isn't it!  Read about tweaking the logo to stay with the times here via Because mag.

+  Let's take a sneak peak of behind the scenes at the Tory Burch Fall 2013 show; Cara Delevigne & Julia Nobis feature in the run up to the runway.  Soft drapes, bold colours, graphic prints and extra embellishment = so pretty.  Here via Nowness.

+ I can't stop at one fashion film... I took a look at Yigal Azrouel's Resort 2014 range here on Interview.  Androngyny, black and white, tailored looks and intricate detailing... the perfect foil for a feminine/masculine wardrobe.

+ Usually we get to see only the images of homes 'post renovation', like this home above, all neat, cozy, stylish and inviting; but here on Homelife, we can take glimpse at the 'Before' shots of this Sydney apartment against the 'After' shots.   It certainly packs a punch with a view of the Harbour bridge just out the window!  

+ And finally,  I simply had to share this recipe I found over at The Design Files earlier this week - Toasted Pinenut Lamb Kofta with Grated Beetroot Freekeh salad by Gemma Lush; I'm so tagging this for my recipe folder for my next visitors... you know who you are!
